Accreditations/Recognitions

The Primary Care & Hope Clinic is a Federally Qualified Health Center. Health centers provide high quality preventive and primary health care to patients regardless of their ability to pay. Approximately 1 in 14 people in the U.S. relies on a HRSA-funded health center for medical care.

The Primary Care & Hope Clinic is recognized under the National Committee for Quality Assurance Patient-Centered Medical Home program, a model of patient-centered primary care that combines teamwork and information technology to improve care, improve patients’ experience of care and reduce costs.

Primary Care & Hope Clinic’s diabetes education program is accredited by the American Association of Diabetes Educators.

Rutherford County Primary Care, dba Primary Care & Hope Clinic is a deemed entity under the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA).

The Federally Supported Health Centers Assistance Act of 1992 and 1995 granted medical malpractice liability protection through the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) to HRSA-supported health centers. Under the Act, health centers are considered Federal employees and are immune from lawsuits, with the Federal government acting as their primary insurer.
