Mobile Health Unit

The Primary Care and Hope Clinic partners with Middle Tennessee Medical Center to provide nurse practitioners and staff for the Mobile Heath Unit.

The Mobile Health Unit travels to Murfreesboro City Schools and Rutherford County Schools offering an additional access point for comprehensive medical services including:  adult and child immunizations, well child exams, annual physicals, healthcare for acute illnesses such as colds, flu and sore throats and healthcare for minor injuries.  Children receive treatment on the Mobile Health Unit regardless of their ability to pay.

Serving children begins with removing basic barriers to learning. If a child is sick, hungry, or in an unhealthy environment, their capacity to learn is diminished. By meeting the basic needs of each child, barriers are removed and children thrive. The vision of the Unit is to provide comprehensive care for our children and our community through:

  • Serving the children and families of Murfreesboro City and Rutherford County Schools.
  • Serving the faculty and staff of Murfreesboro City and Rutherford County Schools.
  • Serving the greater Murfreesboro community with a focus on being a bridge to a permanent medical home
