General Guidelines for Volunteers

By agreeing to volunteer at the Clinic, you pledge to respect the privacy and confidentiality of all patients' information. A privacy policy must be signed and kept on file by all volunteers who work within the Clinic. No patient information may be discussed with any non-clinic personnel unless specifically authorized by the patient.

While emergencies or illness can arise, we ask that you honor your volunteer commitment if at all possible. You are an important part of our clinic's mission to our community and we depend upon your efforts.

The mission of the Primary Care & Hope Clinic is one of "hope and healing for all," and we ask that all volunteers respect those who come to us for help. We value our patients, regardless of their cultural, financial, social, physical, or psychological status.
